Resorts are cool and all...but is it worth it?
There’s relaxing in a nice resort, and then there’s relaxing in a luxury resort. To give you an idea of just HOW lush the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort is, imagine paying RM200,000 per night! The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island all inclusive package is one not to be missed!
The Maldives has long been a popular tourist destination for honeymoons and the like. But newly-weds get the chance to stay in the world’s first underwater residence – and we don’t mean a submarine!
Set to open in November 2018, a brand new luxury will be open to the public. Only a handful of people have stayed here so far, but it’s been positive vibes all round!
The underwater suite is called Muraka, meaning coral in Dhivehi. The two-storey villa was designed by Ahmed Saleem, director of Crown Company, and built by Mike Murphy, the leading engineer at New Zealand-based M J Murphy Ltd. Housed with high-pressure glass, you’re sat 16 feet and four inches from the sea floor. Truly, it’s like you’re in The Little Mermaid!
Guests can enjoy a view of the horizon from the upper floor, or marvel at the ocean’s beauty on the ground floor.
There is a 24-hour butler to provide room service. Also, if you somehow get bored, you can ride a private boat to ferry you anywhere on the island!
While $50,000 per night sounds expensive, this high-end resort fits right in with several others that boast the same price and luxury!
