They look too pretty to touch!
If you're a fan of the macaron brand Laduree, you're going to be super excited to know that they are now introducing a MAKEUP line!!!
It looks almost too pretty to use, with the classic Parisian Laduree pretty colours and designs that we have all come to know and love.
This new makeup line is called Les Merveilleuses, an enchanting and luxurious makeup collection which will undoubtedly remind you of the signature Laduree macarons.
Laduree founder, Louis Ernest Laduree, started his first bakery in Paris in 1862. Since then, Laduree has grown to become an internationally recognised brand that is known for its macarons.
Today, that signature macaron has inspired a cosmetics collection, Les Merveilleuses, which means marvellous women.
Laduree has been representing the French “art de vivre” based on the philosophy, “What is really beautiful can intrinsically enchant women by exciting their five senses in an overwhelming manner.”
The cosmetics collection also symbolises the essence of French history and spirit.
In the 18th century, a group of young Parisian women formed a group called Les Merveilleuses. They were members of a fashionable aristocratic subculture in Paris during the French Directory (1795–1799).
To cast off the post-revolution reign of terror and strict morals, these women greeted the new regime with an outbreak of luxury, decadence, and even silliness.
Inspired by the identity of luxury, decadence and just a hint of silliness, the stunning Les Merveilleuses makeup collection is a playful take on the group.
The collection includes products for cheeks, lips, brows, skin and even brushes!
The best part of all of this is that it is available in Singapore at the newly opened Les Merveilleuses flagship store in Takashimaya.
The super cute lipgloss starts at an affordable S$45, so you won't have to break the bank to enjoy this sweet collection!
