All of his other extravagant sex toys have been sold. Wonder how long it'll take for this one to find a buyer.

There’s a lot we could do with a million dollars. Like buy a couple of houses, perhaps. But I suppose if you have so much money lying around, you wouldn’t mind spending it on a million dollar vibrator.

Sure, a million dollar vibrator is a pricey way to get off, but to each their own, right?

Meet The Pearl Royale

Called the “Pearl Royale”, the million dollar vibrator was created by Australian jeweller, Colin Burn. Burn says that the sex toy is more than just a vibrator — it is a symbol.

“My inspiration was to create something that shows the value people place on sex,” he tells New York Post. “[People] spend lots of money for the experiences of owning Maseratis and the like. But would they pay for this?”

This high-end sex toy has been in the works for over a decade —  15 years to be exact. Burn needed time to raise funds for the project.

Over the last 15 years, Burn has also made other pricey tools of seduction, including a gold egg-shaped vibrator that goes for US$25,000, a white-gold dildo that goes for US$38,000 and a gold-handled whip made of human hair that goes for US$19,000 (all of which have found buyers — you’re not surprised, are you?).

But his piece de resistance is none other than the Pearl Royale, which was named to evoke “a very royal experience,” he says.

(Surely only the Royals could afford this.)

So, what is this million dollar vibrator made of?

The Pearl Royale is a pretty substantial toy, to say the least, weighing about a pound. The machine runs on two hand-engineered motors and its body is made entirely of platinum.

The casing is covered with 2,000 diamonds, made up of royal-blue sapphires and “very rare” pink diamonds, all provided by Russian diamond merchants who are backing the product.

And you won’t have to worry about the stones cutting you as “they’re flush-set” according to Burn. And you will need a platinum key to get it (and yourself) going.

“Olisbos”

Burn is touring Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and New York, looking for gallery owners willing to display his million dollar vibrator as well as the other prized pieces in his collection.

Should a gallery space take up his offer, his show will be called “Olisbos,” or Greek for “dildo.”

Though his promises are large, claiming that the Pearl Royale will deliver “a million-dollar orgasm,” (it better), he acknowledges that it has yet to be road-tested.

“The prototype has been tried and it works exceptionally well,” he says. “The real one is in a vault. We don’t want to soil it.”

Well, then. We’re sure there are plenty of volunteers willing to test out the million dollar vibrator.
