Who wouldn't want their office to be on a private island, right?
The Richard Branson personal assistant role is a dream job for many, but this dream is about to get even better because he is offering his new PA the chance to live on his private island.
Though you won't be personal assistant to Richard Branson directly, this role will still be a shining star on your resume.
Yes, it may be an entry level role, but being PA to Necker Island's general manager Keny Jones is quite a big deal!
The role was advertised on LinkedIn and anyone could apply!
Apart from just living on the island and working under Keny Jones, the successful applicant will also work in Richard Branson's office in an admin role.
The job description states: "We are of course looking for someone with fantastic admin and organisational skills as well as practical experience in a busy office.
"But your personality is just as important. As well as being a top notch administrator, we’re also looking for someone who is self-motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic who can balance this with the essential need for discretion and confidentiality."
It is also stated that the main responsibilities include email management, general correspondence, filing and archiving and booking travel.
But this is, after all, a job and not all fun and games. So the job advert also warns that "it's a busy role in two even busier offices so think carefully as it’s not for everyone (despite the sunshine)."
The application process seemed easy enough. Applicants should email a video of themselves explaining why they want the job. They have to list their experience and special skills in the video and send it along with a CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There have been over 23,000 views for the position on LinkedIn since the job opened up about two weeks ago.
Though applications have closed on March 10, it would be interesting to see who has been chosen as the new Richard Branson personal assistant to live on Necker Island, don't you think?
